Client Needs
The family moved into a rural farmhouse fixer upper, and the existing kitchen had a terrible layout to suit their family’s needs.
Project Goal
The main goal was to remove walls and make one large family gathering space. The family’s head cook loved baking and desired lots of open countertop space to lay out her baked goods. Since this location was in rural Johnson County, so we used a farmhouse-house style but added classic elements so the design would age well over time.
Before Remodel
Lacking modern high-end materials, cabinet and countertop space, but most of all, lacking style.
