A better functioning kitchen with all new appliances and enough storage with a modern design aesthetic.
Project Goal
The goal for this kitchen is to combine modern features with traditional warmth. Adding several new windows and vaulting the ceiling, significantly increased the light and stature of the space. We then selected cabinets, additions, and hardware that could maintain this aesthetic while being durable enough for everyday use.
The family decided to add an eat-in banquette to the kitchen to add seating for family members. One of the unique features of this kitchen is that there's no kitchen island. This leaves more space for the family to move around, and it has a nice open design for when you're in the middle of cooking as well.
